Agronomist - Oenologist
Despoina Bouza was born in 1964, in Pireaeus, Greece. She is currently Teaching and Research Associate Staff in Laboratory of Viticulture at Agricultural University of Athens. She holds an MSc in Viticulture and Enology and a Diploma (as agriculturist) from the Department of Crop Science of A.U.A. She has long experience on panel’s training and various sensory analysis methods. In the past she has worked for several Greek wine and distillates companies. Further more she has extensive previous experience on training adults in sensory evaluation of wines and distillates (learning for life A.F.S.) and on teaching viticulture and enology in special technical schools. She is also involved in grapevine propagation and nutrition in research programs and conferences.
