    Sommelier Cyprus
With origin from Cyprus, Georgios Kassianos studied Hotel Management in London. He also attended specialised courses for the wine as well as courses for becoming a sommelier. He started working as a sommelier for five stars hotels in Pafos, Cyprus. Since 2003 he writes articles about the wine for the Greek press but mainly for the English press of the island. He is member of the jury in competitions in Cyprus and abroad. He gives lectures concerning the organoleptic features of the wines and he also presents the geography of wine. He is the Chairman of the Sommeliers’ Union of Cyprus since 2008.
