Simos Georgopoulos is a freelance wine writer and critic since 1999. He has worked for major magazines and newspapers and now is a member of the FNL- Guide.com team. Simultaneously, he is running his own simosgeorgopoulosblog.wordpress.com. He consults top restaurants and wineries and for more than 20 years he is organizing wine tastings and masterclasses. Instructor at the Genius in Gastronomy school of sommelier, he also giving lectures in the post graduate oenological degree at the University of West Attica. He is the writer of the bilingual wine guides, “Only the Best’ and “A Wine Glass Full of Greece” and serves as jury in international wine competitions.
