    Oenologist France
Bertrand Alain Pierre is Chemist and Oenologist and formerly professor of oenology at the University Bordeaux. He was also Vice-Dean of the faculty of oenology and director of the laboratory of analytical chemistry. 
He is the french expert of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) for the methods of analysis and specifications of the oenological products.
Organizer of two international symposium of the spirits of viticultural origin. Director of 27 theses, numerous scientific publications. His main research topics were: Study of the wine aromatics by chromatography, Identification of wine taints, Research on spirits from wine.
He participates
each year in numerous wine competitions in France and abroad.
