Martin van der Heiden is the owner of Griekse Wijnen, importer of only Greek Wines. (web site www.grieksewijnen.com). He has been in Greece for more than 20 years, fell in love with the country, it's culture, cuisine, music and people. After 15 years travelling to Greece he combined it with his second passion, wine, and started exploring the Greek wines in general, in the meantime examining what kind of wines would fit in Holland. He found out that there are 2 winecultures in Holland for the Greek market; 1. The tourist market, every year many Dutch tourists go mainly to the islands and drink cheap (local) wine, retsina and ouzo and 2. The winelover in general, who likes to drink good wine, no matter where it comes from. He services both groups and he builds his company with it, this year for the 5th year, and its growing fast!
